Arseniy Chubachin was born in Novosibirsk (Siberia) on September 9, 1989. When his family moved to St Petersburg, he started his studies in cello at the Central Music School at the age of 6 with Prof. Mark Reizenshtok. At age 13, he went to Moscow to study with Prof. Alexey Seleznev at the Moscow Academic Music College. During 2008-2009 Arseny studied in Frankfut Hochschule für musik under Prof. Michael Sanderling. During 2009-2015 Arseny studied at Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory under Prof. Alexey Seleznev. During 2009-2012, with the support of Kempinski Arts Support Programme and Deutsche Foundation of Prinzessin Kira-Marina von Bismarck Arseny studied at Hoschschule für Musik ‘Hanns Eisler’ with Prof. Stephan Forck, Eberhard Feltz. During 2011 he had special courses in Hochschule für Musik ‘Hanns Eisler’ with Prof. Stephan Forck, Eberhard Feltz. During 2011 he had special courses in Hochschule für Musik in Fiesola (Italy) with Natalia Gutman, People’s Artist of USSR

A. Chubachin collaborates with the leading orchestras, including Svetlanov State Symphony Orchestra, State Simphony Capella of Russia, Soloist orchestra of Bolschoi Theatre, S.Peterburg Philharmonic, Staatskapelle Halle Simphony Orchestra, Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra, “Musica Viva Orchestra”, Bratislava Radio orchestra, “Orchestra Metropolitana de Lisboa – and musicians, including Yuri Simonov, Daniil Trifonov, Andrei Korobeinikov, Julia Lezhneva, Marius Strawinsky, Nishimoto Tomomi, Itamar Golan, Alexander Rudin, Antonella Rugiero, Maxim Dunaevskiy, Igor Butman, Nikita Boriso-Glebsky, Andrey Baranov, Vadym Kholodenko, Amos Talmon, Mark Reisenshtok. He has participated in a number of Festivals including: “International Mstislav Rostropovich Festival, “Gergiev Festival” in South Ossetia, Creschendo Festival, St.Petersburg, Istanbul Mozart Festival, Prague Boheme Festival, “Stars of the 21st Century” Moscow, “Stars of the Baikal”Irkutsk, “Apogee Festival ” London, 1st International Festival of “Glory, Maestro !” in memory of M. Rostropovich. Arseniy has performed in concerts at Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory, Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, Bolschoi Theatre, International House of Music, S-Petersburg Philharmonic, Rudolphinum Hall in Prague, Prinzregenten Theater Munich, Mariinsky Theatre, Theatre Champs-Elysees, The Auditorium of the Louvre. Since 2015, Arseny has been a Founder and Music director of “ARS Chamber Orchestra” – the group was based upon his idea. It includes laureates of the international competitions, representatives of the new generation of russian performing school. In 2015, following large success at the debut concert of “Ars Chamber Orchestra” performing at the Mstislav Rostropovich Festival, the orchestra received numerous invitations to the leasig engagements in Russia and Europe. Delos records has generated interest in the group and the CD will be produced during 2017-2018 season. Unique arrangements allow to possess vast repertoire and become incredibly important part of the musical life.
